Step – 1

Log in to the Steam Desktop Application with the account information provided to you. (Logging in through a browser is prohibited.)

We recommend selecting the “Remember me” option when logging in.

Step – 2

After logging into the account, click on the “Steam” text in the top left and go to the “Settings” option. (If the settings option is not visible, the account is in Family View mode. Right-click the game in the Library and select Properties. Disable the “Keep games saves in the Steam Cloud” option, then skip to step 6.)

Step – 3

In the “Remote Play” tab, make sure to uncheck the box next to “Enable Remote Play.”It must look exactly like in the image.*

Step – 5

Then, in the “Cloud” tab, uncheck all the boxes. Save by clicking OK. It must look exactly like in the image.*

Step – 6

While the game is selected in the Library, click the “Install” button to start downloading the game. If it doesn’t say “Install,” click the triangle next to the button, select “This Device,” and then start the download.

Step – 7

After the game has downloaded, launch it online once. Once you reach the main menu of the game, close it. Then click “Steam” in the top left again and select “Go Offline.”

After selecting this option, sections like the store will be disabled. However, you will have absolutely no problem accessing your library and the game. From now on, always start Steam in offline mode and do not switch it back to online mode.

NOTES AND RULES

Note 1: If you get an error saying the account was logged in on another computer while the game is downloading and it asks you to enter the password again, do not log in again. The game will continue downloading. After your game has downloaded, you can log in again and follow the steps to play your game.

Note 2: On accounts with Family Mode enabled, do not leave your computer unattended while Steam is online. On accounts with Family Mode disabled, you can leave the game to download as long as you have made sure to disable Remote Play.

Note 3: To prevent it from asking for a code again, click Switch Account when logging out.
